Missions

Missions is a vital part of the church. Jesus commanded to go into all the world to baptize people in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He also commanded us to teach all that he taught us. This is why evangelism and discipleship are pillars for us as a church.

As a part of a larger network of churches in the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada, we give cheerfully to the work of the kingdom of God, not only locally, but globally. Below are just a few of the ways that we do that.

The Wiens- Africa

The Wien's have been supported by Powers Creek Community Church for a number of years. They are faithfully serving the Lord in Africa, teaching locals agriculture. Check out their latest blog!

The Zilkies- Mexico

The Zilkie's have a heart for people. They embody our mission and vision by loving God and loving people, no matter where God has them. They will be heading to Colima, Mexico to serve in a children's orphanage for February 2025

Maple Springs Bible Camp

We love to support and partner with Maple Springs Bible Camp. With the camp being so closely located in Peachland it would just make sense to partner with them in the Gospel.

Darrel and Debbie have been a part of Maple Springs Bible Camp for years. Their family has served there faithfully. We are pleased to support them as Darrel serves full-time on their maintenance team!
